About Us

City Help was created to address the growing healthcare needs and disappearing health care availability for the city’s homeless, low-income, and uninsured; to meet the nutritional needs of the city’s food insecure population.

The organization’s overarching goal is to increase health care access for vulnerable patients in the community by overcoming barriers associated with cost, transportation, and extended waiting periods.

In Los Angeles County

Approximately 2.7 million people have no healthinsurance.

On any given day there are an estimated 82,000 people that are homeless.

Los Angeles County’s unemployment rate as of July 2014 is 8.7%
